Care Giver Qualifications:
An EMT, LPN or care giver with at least 3 years of clinical
experience and certified in basic life support.
A Board certified emergency physician is available 24 hours
per day by phone for any medical questions or concerns that
may arise during the transfer.

MED
Sprinter Driver Qualifications:
Each Sprinter is equipped with two drivers which allows the transfer to continue
throughout the night.
Drivers must have at least 5 years driving experience, have a class D licence
and maintain a clean driving record. |

On
Board Medical Equipment:
Oxygen Concentrator: Oxygen Concentrator
supplies oxygen at five (5) liters per minute. Additional
oxygen tanks are available to supply oxygen up to 15 liters/min.
Oxygen saturation is monitored via Pulse Oximeter. |
Suction: A
suction unit is available for the patients tracheotomy
needs.
Nutrition: Nutritional supplements are continued via PEG or Nasogastric Feeding
tube.
Catheter Care: Foley Catheter care is provided. Urine output
is
monitored.
The patient's glucose is monitored throughout the transfer.
Intravenous fluids and medications prescribed by the physician are continued
for the duration of the transfer.
Medications that the patient is currently taking are administered throughout
the transfer. |

Medications:
Basic Medications E.G. Tylenol, Aspirin, Ibuprofen etc. are
provided as needed.
A enclosed private bathroom & shower are available
for your convenience which allows for non-stop travel.
While Traveling: You can watch movies on a
private DVD player, munch on snacks or special dietetic foods.
Hot foods are available
with the microwave and cold drinks via the on-board refrigerator.
